Ginger Beer
Ginger beer.
Sweet-sour tang, sliding
Along tongue and teeth.
Refreshing relief
To a parched palate.

~~~GUIDELINES~~~
Keep your post to below 500 words, as much as possible.
All we ask is you link to a human news story on your blog on the last Friday of each month, one that shows love, humanity, and brotherhood. Something like this news, about a man who only fosters terminally ill children.
Join us on the last Friday of each month in sharing news that warms the cockles of our heart. No story is too big or small, as long as it goes beyond religion and politics, into the core of humanity.
Place the WE ARE THE WORLD Badge on your sidebar, and help us spread the word on social media. Tweets, Facebook shares, G+ shares using the #WATWB hashtag through the month most welcome. More Blogfest signups mean more friends, love and light for all of us.
We’ll read and comment on each others’ posts, get to know each other better, and hopefully, make or renew some friendships with everyone who signs on as participants in the coming months.
Hi Simon – love ginger beer … and remember making it as a child … that sweet-sour tang … as you note in your poem on ginger beer – cheers Hilary
Thanks Hilary. It was a bit of stuff and nonsense. I was enjoying a ginger beer and the next thing a silly little poem surfaced.
This Blogfest never fails to impress with the dedication of each of its hosts to the cause. I absolutely love being a part of this group. Good going Simon 😊
Yeah, some of us just keeping adding WATWB to all our posts. When Damyanti first asked me to come aboard back in February it was hard to say no 🙂 We’ve lost some folks along the way. But, we’ve picked up some really fab people too. 🙂
People come and go. It’s better to let go of those who don’t intend to stay. Those who mean it will make it everytime. Glad people like you and Damyanti are involved. There’s much I’ve learnt from both of your blogs 😊
Oh yes, Pradita. We are all still learning with each other.
🙂 🙂
