We come to the conclusion of another calendar year (on one calendar, at least). For the many backgrounds who come together in blogspace it can mean various things.
For some of us, from a Christian background, this time of the year is Christmas. My Christmas poem for this year arrived early, It’ll Cut For Hay. For those seeking more, I’ve linked in some other Christmas poems that pestered me until I committed them to paper and screen. The Kelpie Dog at Christmas, I Dreamed Santa Saved the Day, The Shepherd’s Daughter, The Little Angel, Caved Inn of Light and more if searching the “Christmas” tag.
Especial greetings to our intrepid team of We Are The World Blogfest #WATWB who share good news the last Friday of each month and have earned December off! They know who they are and how significant they are in the lives of many of us.
For those of you in the South of our Globe, take care in the heat with your dear ones. For those in the North, gird yourself against the cold with the warmth of loved ones near.
May you all know deep peace at this time.

Merry Christmas to you too Simon 🙂
Thanks so much, Pradita. Peace to you and all your loved ones too 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Merry Christmas Simon. Hope the move went well. May good health and good cheer be your companions.
Move still in progress. Thanks Susan, may the same be true to you and all your companions.
Thank you, Simon. Best wishes to you also, for the Christmas season.
Hi Simon … hadn’t realised you were moving along with other things – I sincerely hope life eases through and then up for you as the New Year approaches … take care and all the best Hilary
Thanks Hilary. It is a bit complex at the moment. But I move on December 31 and things will begin to settle then. Hope all well with you and your loved ones.
Oh good – looks like 2018 should be easier … take care and all the best; life is interesting to put it mildly – but I’m fine … so tales to tell anon sometime … Good luck with that final packing up – especially at this time of year … mind you you’re in ‘sun-land’ … I’m under snow here … I hope you can get some relaxation in over the festivt-tide … cheers Hilary
